In the second quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Kuwait saw varied performance across the top five applications, as revealed by data from Sensor Tower.

Careem – rides, food & more experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at approximately 4K in early April and stabilizing around 3.4K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users showed a gradual decline from 21.3K to around 20.5K by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride exhibited a noticeable rise in weekly downloads, peaking at about 2.9K in the last week of June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 32K, with a slight increase observed towards the end of the quarter.

inDrive. Save on city rides showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, reaching nearly 1.5K by late June. The weekly active users also trended upwards, ending the quarter at approximately 5.3K.

Bolt: Request a Ride recorded an upward trajectory in weekly downloads, with numbers climbing to about 1.2K by the end of June. Similarly, active users saw a modest increase, finishing the quarter at around 6K.

DRV-Driver had a rollercoaster pattern in downloads, with a peak of 2.6K mid-June before dropping to 374 by the month's end. The data for active users was not available.
